Abstract

Tujuanl dari penelitianl ini adalahl untuk mengetahuil keefektifan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik modeling simbolik. Populasil dalam penelitianl ini yaitu siswal kelas XIl SMAN 1 Jeruklegi denganl purposive sampling yang kemudian menjadi 1 kelompok eksperimen. Dari hasill penelitian menunjukkan bahwal teknik modelingl simbolik berpengaruh terhadapl kemandirian lsiswa. Untuk hasil uji homogenitas menunjukkan 0.350 (>0.05) yang berarti data homogen dan dapat dilanjutkan untuk ujil hipotesis. Pada ujil hipotesis ujil paired lt-testl hasil yang menunjukkan adalah sebesar .000 , yangl berarti terdapatl perbedaan yangl signifikan antaral kemandirian siswa sebeluml dan sesudahl diberi lperlakuan, hal ini dapatl disimpulkan bahwal konseling kelompokl teknik modelingl simbolik efektifl dalam meningkatkan karakter mandiri siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Jeruklegi. Kata kunci: teknik modeling simbolik, kemandirian, konseling kelompok.
